With 40lb'ers caught from Norfolk, Kent and Surrey, My next quest is for a Cambs 40 from "magic" Monks pit.

I'm older these days and things are a bit more of a struggle than they used to be, including motivation! Part 1 gets us up to speed with pics from 2009 and 2010 and then I left the lake, when I moved to Essex for 3 years and then Thailand for 2 years. I returned to Monks in 2017, still hoping that 40lb'er would come my way......

We go into the depths of winter (December January February 2019/2020) Ringing in the changes scores a great January result

The Virus affects us all but the quest ends with, "Charlies mate" at 42.08 on the glorious 16th of June, but then something very unexpected happens in Norfolk, when 3 weeks later I land, "3 Scales" at 44lb from Bawburgh lakes.
